Message seat time is uber important. This next time out try to test your cars limits of adhesion and find all of it's breaking points. Make sure there's plenty of run off..I'd hate to see an SR-71 get damaged..but I applaud you for tracking it!! You'll learn to better "feel" the car and what its' doing. If there's a skid pad there..spend LOTS of time there. Set up a single cone and start by doing small donuts around it. Then adjust your steering to pull the car out and make the circles bigger..try this both directions. After you get that down try doing some figure eights to get the feel of transitions. That'll get you started and more comfortable with being sideways. It's helped my road racing a lot as well..gotten me out of some hairy situations..it's extreme car control. Have fun!!!
